Y’all! Have you seen tarte’s newest palette? As a make up lover, my heart just grew ten sizes.
It’s so beautiful!
I currently own the Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush: Paaarty, which retails for $35(CAD), and it’s definitely my go to. While the color is pigmented, a little goes a long way, it’s quite neutral and does not over power your face. As a brown girl, I always had a problem with make up artists turning my cheeks red and I looked like a clown. This line however highlights what you got, adds the right amount of pigment and a tad of shimmer. As with most taste products, I find this product buildable, if you find the application a bit to shear, you can add as second one for a more vibrant look.
Let’s be real, one of the first things I look at when reviewing a product is wastage. I despise spending my hard earned dollars on a product when half of it ends up on the floor or unused on my brush. Although the product sits quite firm in the pan, it easily kicks up with minimal wastage. This line blends well and wear for a long time. I normally have my make up for about 8 hours, and this particular blush gave me a full days wear, looked exactly how I did when I put it on, when I took it off. Also I should mention, I feel these blushes can definitely go from day to night, subdue enough for the office, but sexy enough for a night out.
If you follow me on the gram, you’ll know one of the reasons I like this brand is because it’s cruelty free, vegan, oil free and dermatologist tested. It’s really important that when I promote anything on my blog, it’s by a brand I can stand behind. Now I am ashamed to stay not every brand I LOVE can stand next to these values but I am doing my best to move towards brands that are focused on maintaining a transparent image with their audience.
So I share with you Tarte’s Big Blush Book III. For $78 (CAD) you can enjoy 7 blushes and 1 highlighter
Heated (hot coral) Peachy (peach)
Lavish (coral) Rad (hot pink)
Poised (pink) Kindred (cool nude)
Mindful (nude pink) Spirited (champagne highlight)
Have you tried Tarte blushes before? What did you think?
