What’s more romantic than spending an evening with someone you love on a yacht, lit up by candles with the soothing sounds of the water in the background?
Any time my husband and I want to do a “date night” out, it seems very routine: get dressed up and hit some fancy restaurant. We would leave the house for dinner about 7, head out to whatever “happening” restaurant was open and within 2 hours we’d be home. Boring, right? Now we have only been married for two years and I’m really not the “routine” type and to be honest I am really not a fan of fine dining. This being said I’m always on the look out for new experiences, Go West Trinidad & Tobago Yacht has definitely filled a void and on behalf of all couples Thank you!
Fabio and Leanna make a fabulous team, but what’s really so great about them is they understand how to exceed their clients expectations . When I stumbled across their Facebook advertisement, I phoned Leanna immediately to see if I could book a surprise dinner for my husband to celebrate his resignation the following week. She immediately went into full planning mode. Leanna was able to really shape the evening using her many connections with a variety of local artisans to make the evening all about us. The Azzurro is intimate, comfortable, and only light by candles and the moon, the ambiance is impossible to recreate.
Leanna asked me to write a few words, it ended up being an entire letter, then Vanessa used her amazing decorative writing, calligraphy, to add a little personal touch to our evening.
We remained on the boat for about 4 hours, when I was first told we had the boat for such a long time, I thought to myself “What the hell are we going to do for such a long time” but the time went by super fast. Once we arrived and settled on the boat we were served dinner, applause to Zanzibar on the great food, by about 8:30 we were free to sip on wine and enjoy each others company for the rest of the evening. It was refreshing to be on the sea, enjoying the serenity of the still water and enjoying uninterrupted conversation with my husband. Leanna and Fabio made it a point to check in ever so often to ensure our needs were taken care of, however it didn’t feel intrusive, it felt like old friends stopping by to say hi.
Like I said early what sets Go West Trinidad & Tobago Yacht experience apart from any competitors is there genuine interest in there customers, attention to detail, and they truly are some of the nicest people I have met in Trinidad. I applaud you for stepping out of the box and bringing a new experience for Trinbagonians and visitors to enjoy Chaguaramas. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and appreciate everything you did to make my mini surprise party come to fruition.
As always I have a few TIPS for anyone looking into dining on the yacht:
-Bring a bottle of bubbly to enjoy under the stars
-Ladies do yourself a favor and wear pants (I wore a dress which made it difficult to get on and off the boat)
– Allow Leanna to help you put together your night, she has fabulous and creative ideas
-As always bring your camera, you wouldn’t want to forget this experience.
