Barbados is filled with some of the best of the best to play. If you are trying to soak up some of the best of the culture, beaches and nightlife, here are my best recommendations:
Ready to get a little bit rugged? The Island safari tour blends old and new giving you the most authentic version of Barbados. The 4×4 are perfect for the courageous, adventurous type who can handle some good off roading. Ruel, our driver, kept us entertained with some good folklore, history and jokes. The 6 hour tour touches each of the 11 parishes of Barbados and included drinks (alcoholic/ non-alcoholic) and a stop for authentic Bajan buffet in a traditional chattel house.
Swimming with the turtles, exploring shipwrecks and partying sounds like something up your alley, this is the boat tour for you. With the drinks flowing, and the crew ensuring your cup is always full, it was pretty hard to not have a good time.
In my opinion boat yard is a dream. Boatyard is the perfect equation :Food + drinks + sea sports + white sandy beaches = Boatyard. With a $50 BBD entrance fee, you receive $40 back to use for food and drinks.
The Gap comes alive in the evening, with bars and restaurants that line the strip. The best spots for a night cap and some great music:
Hal’s Carpark Bar:
This is exactly what it sounds like, a canopied open bar on a parking lot. Best spot to grab a drink and vibe.
The perfect little beach bar located on the Boardwalk in Hastings, Barbados. While your sip on a rum coke you will definitely vibe the music and the fresh breeze from the ocean behind you.
